The experience
Golden hour without the summit climb.
Circle the lower slopes of Lion’s Head as the afternoon light changes across Cape Town, Table Mountain and the Atlantic coastline.
Our timing brings us to the final Table Mountain-facing bend around sunset, where we slow down for coffee or tea, an Outdoor Addicts trail treat and the evening views.
From there it is roughly 30 minutes back to the trailhead, completing an accessible circular experience without the summit chains or ladders.
